You've been here before.
So we can skip the introduction. You already know about breathing, and cold water, and calling someone. Being told again is mostly insulting.
Here's the more useful question: last time this happened, what did you actually do until it passed?
It counts even if it was unimpressive. Sleeping. Driving around. A show you'd already seen. Sitting on the kitchen floor. Nothing noble required.

Things that are true for people who've done this a lot
- You've survived 100% of these so far, including the ones nobody knew about.
- Being here again isn't a relapse in character. It's a condition with a pattern.
- Exhaustion with the whole cycle is not the same as wanting to be dead, though at 3am they wear the same coat.
- The thing that worked last time is allowed to be the thing again. It doesn't have to be new.

Emergency medical help: 911 (US & Canada), 999 (UK), 112 (EU & many countries), 000 (Australia). If you'd rather talk: 988 (US call/text), 116 123 (UK & Ireland), findahelpline.com for your country. Nothing here asks you to use them. They're just here if you want them.
