Your body needing care is a separate question from anything else you feel tonight.
You can still feel however you feel about living. Getting a body looked at doesn't cancel that, and it isn't a promise about anything.
Please get emergency medical care now if any of these are true:
- You took pills, chemicals, or too much of anything — even if you feel okay right now
- Bleeding that hasn't slowed, or a wound that's deep or gaping
- Trouble breathing, chest pain, or a racing or slowing heart
- Feeling faint, confused, drowsy, or drifting out of consciousness
- Vomiting, seizures, severe pain, or being unable to stay awake
- You aren't sure how bad it is
911 (US & Canada) · 999 (UK) · 112 (EU & many countries) · 000 (Australia). In the US you can also reach Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222. Overdoses very often feel fine for hours and then are not fine — please don't wait to see.
This page can't tell how serious anything is, and it won't try. It has no way to see you and nobody here is watching. Only a person who can actually look at you can judge that.
You don't have to explain why. "I hurt myself and I need it looked at" is a complete sentence. You are allowed to be treated kindly.
